I am a Firefox fan. There are many reasons for this, which have become more apparent to me over time, but initially it was the ability to customize the interface and avail myself of the nearly unending array of "add-ons" which facilitate outstanding functionality to the browser and greatly enhance its utility. I'm very big on customization.
There are other browsers which people feel have appeal, but, having tried them, I found them to fall far short of my accustomed standard.
Having said that, periodically, I do launch the browser touted as holding the number one position to ensure that what is presented to you on this site, appears as it should.
In the course of that endeavor, I've discovered that, in fact, not all browsers render alike, and actually seriously flinch at those things that Firefox takes well in stride.
Last evening, while scrolling through in IE, I discovered that the rendering doesn't function properly once one gets beyond the first few posts. It actually scrunches the sidebar and main content into the main content area. I am working on getting this resolved, and hope to have it fixed soon.
Additionally, text formatting does not always present as intended in IE. I am working on minimizing those issues as well, and hope to get this space presenting as intended for you quickly, if you are an IE user. In the interim, consider acquainting yourself with the #2 browser. They really do try harder...
